My wife and I listen from the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. KABL is by far the best station we have EVER listened to. Sadly, stations of the calibre of KABL are not available in Australia. America had the best song writers, singers, actors, actresses, bands and music in the world, during the golden era.The historical segments of San Francisco (and other places) are also greatly appreciated. We'd love to also hear something about San Francisco's streetcars (or trams, as we call them over here). Like the cable cars, they are brilliant, but under-rated, and San Francisco is so fortunate to still have them. I remember KABL in the 60s with soft music playing on our way home from my grandparents in Milbrae, down skyline boulevard before the 280 was completed, and down 19th, all listening to KABL.
